5 Tips to Improve Your Time-Management Skills for a More Productive Day
We have all heard the saying, "I need 25 hours in the day to get it all done."

So, I've devised this list of tips to help you be more productive in your day.

1. Make a list of what needs to get done - break larger projects up into smaller action items. Smaller action items are easier to complete thus creating a win which gives you a dopamine hit to your brain.

2. Arrange the list in order of importance - with the most important to do item on the top. Start on the top of the list and as you work through the items check them off. There is satisfaction in being able to cross things off a list.

3. Turn off all distractions - on ALL your electronic devices. Trust me nothing is so important it can’t wait for 50 minutes to be attended to.

4. Work in 50 minute increments - Now set a 50 minute timer and get to work. When the timer goes off use the next 10 minutes to stretch, go to the bathroom, restock snacks or water and check any messages that you need to attend to. It has been proven that the brain works best with small breaks through out the day.

5. Repeat - Reset your timer for 50 minutes and get back to work.

By implementing this into your daily work schedule you will quickly see how easy it is to be productive and get more done in less time.
